Summer and Fall BooksBy Kerrigan Kaiser
Staff Reporter September 17, 2016 Summer is officially over, fall is just around the corner, and Christmas will not be too far behind. But don’t worry, you can still read the hit books of the summer, and you can start to pick out new fall books.
These fresh new summer books include All the Missing Girls, Modern Lovers, The Beach House, & Breakwater Bay. My favorite book that I started reading over the summer was To all the boys I’ve loved before by Jenny Lee. This is a typical girls story, it about a young girl who whenever she has a crush on a boy she writes them a love letter, however she never sends it out to get read by them. But one day, all of her letters get sent out. Just imagine, every single crush you’ve ever had finding out! This book is fiction. In our school library there are many great books of all different genres. With summer being gone it’s time to talk about fall. Fall is such an amazing time of the year. Pumpkins, hot cocoa, cool crisp air. And of course, books. You may be wondering if there are even any fall themed books. Well there are, there are a ton of Halloween books out there, and who could forget about Harry Potter. In our school library we carry the entire Harry Potter series. J.K. Rowling just came out with a new book called Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, parts 1 & 2. And if the first seven books didn’t catch your eye, this one will. This series has taken the world by storm and is still 1 of the most popular books. Whether you’re into summer themed books, or fall themed books just pick one out. It doesn’t matter what season it is, it could be summer and your reading a fall book. Who cares, head to our school library and check out a book and get to reading. |
