Winter sports are right around the corner as all the sports has kickoff their conditioning. The winter sports include girls and boy’s basketball, girl and boy’s soccer, wrestling which boy and girl can join, and girl’s weightlifting.
Boys’ basketball coach John Zeoli has been conditioning since the beginning of the school and will have their first official practice Oct. 25. Girls’ basketball coach Jason Harlow is currently holding conditioning. Official practice for the girls’ team begins Oct. 21.
Boy’s soccer is under coach Chris Dowdell Their first official practice is fast approaching as it’s scheduled for October 14th but until then they are holding conditioning after school. The girl’s soccer team has a new coach this year in Duane Danchuck. The girl’s team is also holding conditioning after school but their first official practice is early in the month as its scheduled on October 7th
Wrestling season is also almost here under coach Jason Baker They are also holding conditioning afterschool. Boys and girls can join this great physical sport, so if you’re a girl and want to join see coach Baker in building 15 room 104.
Girl’s weightlifting is ready to hit the weight room early this winter season as they are already under going conditioning after school in the weight room. The girl’s weightlifting team is under coach Teresa Miller.
Get involved this winter season with these great sports that are going on. To participate in all the sports conditioning you will need to have all of three papers turned in to Mrs. Q in the front office. The papers you need are the physical consent form, Concussion awareness form, and the insurance form. To participate at all you will have to pass the first nine weeks with no F’s. When the season starts you are required to have a pay to participate form in, the amount you need to pay may vary.
