How to Survive a Beach Day
By Mary Escott
Crossword and Sports March 9, 2018 Spring has finally arrived so that means beautiful weather and sunny days. With beautiful weather and sunny days you'll be able to have the best beach day ever.
In March the weather can be pretty cold but it can be pretty hot, too. If you plan on going to the beach this month you'll have the bright, hot sun but a nice cool breeze to keep you on your toes. The water is going to be very cold considering it was just two very cold months. When going to the beach you normally would want to make a day out of it so you could wake up early, around 8 and get to the beach. You are allowed to park on the beach and you can either pay for the day pass which is $20 and it includes one re-entry or you could buy a yearly pass which is $25, unlimited beach entry and lasts until the end of the year. Somethings you should bring when going to the beach would include an beach umbrella because you may want get a tan but you need some shade to let your body chill. You would need sunscreen or suntan lotion, sunglasses, beach towels, one for drying yourself off and one for laying on. Most importantly you'll need a radio because listening to music and chilling on the beach is the best thing ever. Going to the beach can be very messy so a cool life hack for going to the beach would be filling a sock with baby powder. When you want to get the sand off of you, you just rub the sock on yourself and the sand comes off super easily. Another hack would be too freeze aloe vera gel before you leave for the beach so if you get sunburned you can rub that on your skin which feels cool and refreshing. Hope these checklists and life hacks help you survive a beach day over March and in the future for summer. Always wear sunscreen and swim safely, but most importantly have fun! |
